Pastor Ty Irwin
Bro. Ty was born and raised in Raymond, IL. As a senior in high school, he realized he was a sinner and was saved at the foot of his bed. Later that year, he felt the call into the ministry. In May of 2013 the church called him to be the Youth Pastor, where he served for nearly 13 years. In February of 2026, he was voted in as Head Pastor.
Bro. Ty holds a Bachelor's of Ministry from Grace Bible Baptist Institute as well as a degree of advanced biblical studies. He married his wife, Mrs. Rachel in 2011. Together they have 5 children-Tommie, Abigail, Josiah, Silas, and Everett. They enjoy serving and loving the community as a family.
Care Pastor Dr James Wagahoff
Dr Wagahoff served as our Interim Pastor when the Church started in September of 1980, and as our Pastor here at Blessed Hope from May 1986 - December 2020. He holds a Graduate of Theology Degree from Calvary Baptist Seminary and a Doctorate Degree from Blessed Hope Baptist College.
Jim married his wife, Ms Diane, in September of 1969. They have 6 children, 6 children-in-laws, 15 grandchildren, 4 grandchildren-in-laws, and 8 great-grandchildren.
Dr Wagahoff stays busy making visits to those who are sick and discouraged. Mrs Diane teaches our Ladies Sunday School.

Blessed Hope Baptist Church is an Independent Baptist Church that has been lifting up Jesus Christ since 1980. At Blessed Hope Baptist Church, we believe that God's Word provides the only solid foundation for life. We believe God has a purpose for every person. That is why we make no apology for preaching and teaching the Bible.
What To Expect:
A friendly greeting and a warm welcome. Should you be here for Sunday School, we have classes for all ages. We also provide nursery during the Sunday Morning, Evening, and Wednesday Evening Services.
What The Services Are Like:
We at Blessed Hope believe that God is alive and well. We serve a risen Savior, and He is in control no matter how chaotic the world may be.
We worship the Lord in praise and thanksgiving for His grace and mercy. The Lord has blessed Blessed Hope with many talented singers and musicians that minister each service.
