Welcome to the official site of Blessed Hope Baptist Church of Raymond IL. We are located only 35 miles south of Springfield IL. For 32 years, Blessed Hope Baptist Church has stood as a lighthouse for the community of Raymond, and have seen hundreds of souls walk down the isle and accept

Jesus Christ as there personal Saviour. It is truly a church with a desire, and a vision to see souls saved, and life's dedicated to the cause of Christ.

Blessed Hope Baptist Church was formed in 1980, and has had several Pastors over the years, many only staying a few months to a few years before moving on. They called our present pastor, James L Wagahoff, in May of 1986. For 26 years he has stood firm, teaching and preaching the unchanging gospel of Jesus Christ here at Blessed Hope.

We still hold firm to the doctrine of separation, from the clothes that we wear to the places we go, old fashion, God honoring music, and the precious King James Bible. We strive to be seperate in all areas from this world. Our prayer is that the world see something different in us, and that that difference is Jesus Christ.
